It's hard to calculate your exact degree of risk. In theory, with an open, fresh wound in your mouth, there is some chance of catching HIV if she is HIV positive and there is the transfer of sexual bodily fluids into your wound.
The cough, sore throat may not be related to HIV at all. The only way to find out your HIV status is to go for a test.
