Anyone here had affair, strayed, paid sex etc. after being abused?

Yesterday had a talk with a friend, he sounded sad. Seemed like he strayed after he had been abused physically, emotionally and mentally by his Mrs. Wonder did any bro/sis here experoenced the same thing? He had quit the scene sometime back, after the abuses started, he decided to stray becos of his problems at home.

actually this is one of the factors lo.. no love at home then go outside n find lo.. very common la.. bec if some one can give u the love n care u cannot get at home then u will naturally goto him/her.. worse is if u kena abused all the time.. even lack of trust or freedom also contribute to this too..

so is he right or wrong?? both lo.. right bec he needs love n care n so he shld look after his own needs; wrong bec he went to else where to look for it instead of his spouse. its a grey world....

Bro, I agree to a certain extend that guys are bastards. But there are always exception cases, some men actually turn over a new leaf after they got married because they believe that by not straying, they will be a responsible husband to their wife and a responsible father to their kids. just my 0.0001 cent of opinion.

May I know what forms of abuse did he get from his wife?
Physical beating, sexual deprivation, verbal assault & insults, deliberate avoidance, or all of the above?
Sexual deprivation most common while physical assault not prevalent.

Yeah I am interested to know too. Sounds bad as abuse is a strong word I guess. I've had friends that get put down by their partners a lot and some stray because of that. I doubt it is physical, probably verbal and I don't believe anyone should be a victim to such constant ego bashing.
