I was told that the current management got priced out all of a sudden, huge hike in rental. So it's over for them after March 31. Ckt all finding new homes. My guess is that it will become another viet/Thai place.

Saw a indon? syt sitting at reception looking tired. Dunno if the reno is still happening.

GBW did not want to close..... but they were unable to match the bid by the new owners.

Maybe VIP taking over the premise in preparation of their evacuation from Sentosa Plaza by the end of the year.

Nah..... the new operators are an Ah Tiong group. Previously managed spas in Shenzen, Dongguan & Macau. They seem confident to succeed in JB tats why they are willing to bid 3 times the current rental rate to take over the place.

There were rumours that VIP were looking for a new place..... but I dun think so as they are not doing well recently. Their new spa at Holiday Plaza is a white elephant and losing $$$ monthly. VS1 & VS2 were loss making joints too and have to hand over to JMR. Also the traffic at VIP itself has dropped by as much as 50% compared to 2023.

Just have to wait n see what the VIP management decision about Sentosa's closure.

The name of the spa is HV Spa (actual full name).

However it is located in the carpark building of the Holiday Villa hotel so HV could be the abbreviation of the hotel name. But if you approach the hotel staff.... they will tell you HV Spa is not part of the hotel facilities and will re- direct you to the carpark building.
The official massage facility of the hotel is the Sawasdee Massage Spa on the 5th floor.
